Magical Winter - Storytelling Weekend Workshop- FACTS

What to Expect:

- Thursday: Meet the guide at the Railway Station or the Airport. Transport, arrival, and welcome session. Meet fellow participants and enjoy a cozy welcome dinner featuring Finnish winter delicacies. Begin with a seminar on capturing the essence of winter photography, focusing on light, textures, and storytelling techniques.

- Friday: Explore snow-covered forests and frozen lakes on an exciting winter hike. Learn how to photograph serene landscapes, frosty details, and the interplay of light in the winter setting. Afternoon session on post-processing tips to enhance winter scenes.

- Saturday: Dive into capturing the mystical beauty of Finnish winter evenings. Photograph traditional village scenes and the magical northern skies—potentially with the mesmerizing auroras if conditions allow. Wrap up with a warm bonfire and tips on astrophotography.

- Sunday: Snowshoeing adventure with a guide. Wrap up with a group exhibition showcasing the weekend's work and a feedback session from the group and the experienced photographers.

After these rewarding and creativity-enhancing days, you have four to six different yet mutually supportive photographs that form an intriguing collection of your long weekend in Finland. During this journey, you have learned how to narrate an unforgettable visual experience and uniquely present it through your social channels or print it in high-quality formats.

Throughout the workshop, you'll be guided by an experienced professional photographer and locals familiar with the area, ensuring a deep connection with both the craft and the environment.

Feel free to contact us and tell us about your expectations and needs. We will make your wilderness photography holiday dreams come true!
